I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH61070452) in the state of Washington and graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I completed my clinical internship working with individuals seeking safety from domestic violence and addiction. From there, I spent a handful of years working in higher levels of care, primarily with individuals seeking treatment for complex trauma and eating disorders. I found myself wanting a space to be able to engage more deeply with individuals, which led me to open my private practice.
Much of my childhood and young adult years were spent choreographing and performing dance. Using the wisdom of the body to feel, to listen, and to orient. I find that my experience as a dancer translates into my work as I am continuously energized by the pursuit of understanding the language of the body, finding that it often houses what has not been given permission to speak with words. I am committed to a practice of learning and in addition to weekly consultation and supervision, I am a member of Center for Objection Relations, completed a training on trauma and abuse through The Allender Center and currently pursuing certification in Somatic Experiencing therapy.  I am also currently undergoing my own psychoanalysis.
